In 1962, Alfa Romeo presented the Giulia, the successor to the Giulietta, as a compact yet spacious sporty sedan. Alfa had already put a lot of effort into the design of the Giulietta and the already legendary engine with five crankshaft bearings, two overhead camshafts, hemispherical combustion chambers and double carburettors was improved again. The Giulia was basically available with 1.3 and 1.6 liter engines in various power levels from 78 to 112 hp. The 1.6 liter variants are typically recognized by their double headlights, while the 1300s usually only have single headlights. In 1966, the 1300 Ti model appeared with 82 hp, which was an extremely high value for a series engine with a 1.3 liter displacement at the time. This did not harm the reliability of the engines, but they should be allowed to warm up gently after a cold start. Around 144,000 of the 1300 Ti were built and 572,646 of all models together were sold by 1977. The Giulia thus far exceeded the expectations placed on it in 1962 and became a legend during its lifetime. That’s how it’s done – È così che si fa!

This Giulia 1300 Ti was first registered in Italy in 1966. The ownership is only documented from September 27, 1976. A maintenance log was kept from that day until 2015. In 2018, the Alfa was then bought by a German architect and artist living in Madrid who collected both Alfa Romeo production vehicles and racing cars. The well-preserved car was then dismantled and rebuilt. Documentation with 334 photos is available. In 2019, the car was then registered in Madrid. Then came Corona and after Corona, the architect sold his collection. The freshly repaired Giulia, whose total mileage is most likely only 102,863 kilometers, was bought by one of our customers and he gave us the car to sell.

We have examined all the cars thoroughly and from this examination we are making three offers. Our Économie offer for €28,600 refers to the tested and roadworthy vehicle without a new general inspection. The standard offer for €32,200 includes everything necessary for registration with an H license plate. The Suprême offer for €34,600 includes further optimization of this almost perfect car. We would be happy to send you a detailed list of the three offers.
