In 1993, Peugeot launched the 306 as a rival to the VW Golf III. Around 3 million units of this comfortable yet agile model were built until 2001. The 306 was offered as a three- or five-door hatchback, a four-door sedan, a five-door station wagon, and a four-seater convertible. The entire model range proved very successful and is significantly better protected against corrosion than the Golf III. Around 78,000 units of the spacious, four-seater convertible were produced. While the convertibles have been considered a hidden gem for a few years, the other models have now also bottomed out in terms of price and are beginning to rise. As with most car models, this has unfortunately happened so late that well-preserved examples are scarce. Precisely because these vehicles are so robust, most have a certain amount of deferred maintenance that needs to be addressed. Professionally maintained cars in good condition are rare.

This 306 XR with power steering and electric front windows was registered to a woman in Berlin-Wilmersdorf on November 29, 1994. This Berlin resident only used the car occasionally for short trips but had it regularly serviced at a Peugeot dealership. In the spring of 2025, new Goodyear Vector all-season tires were fitted. In September 2025, the mandatory vehicle inspection was due again, and the drive shaft boots, stabilizer bushings, and windshield were noted as areas for repair. Although the windshield had no stone chips, the laminated film was absorbing moisture, causing the glass to become cloudy from the edges. Since the owner was already considering giving up driving altogether, she didn’t want to invest any more money in these repairs. She contacted us, and our managing director was so impressed by the excellent condition of the Peugeot, which had only covered 21,858 kilometers, that he added this classic car to our portfolio. This fully documented classic car, now eligible for historic vehicle registration, has undergone a thorough restoration, received a new windshield, and is now looking for an enthusiast.

We subject each vehicle to a systematic inspection and create three offer proposals based on the results.

Economy – €3,250
Roadworthy and roadworthy vehicle with a recently replaced windshield and valid vehicle inspection (MOT/TÜV) until September 2025.

Standard – €4,950
Includes new drive shaft boots, new stabilizer bar bushings, a new vehicle inspection (MOT/TÜV), and historic vehicle certification (H-plate).

Supreme – €5,500
Additionally includes an oil and filter change, new brake fluid, and new spark plugs.

We would be happy to send you the details of the three offer proposals. Or simply give us a call, and we will explain everything to you personally.
